Age has nothing to do with it. The traits that childishness addresses are seen so often in adults that we should abolish this age discriminatory word when it comes to criticising behavior associated with irresponsible and irrational thinking"
And why associate childhood, an age of "inspiring, aspirational and hopeful thinking and creative ideas" with such negativity, such insult.
There is so much adults can learn from and with children. Adora argues it is "imperative to create opportunities for children so that we can grow up to blow you away". I love that.
So next time you go to label a behavior or a person childish, think about what you really mean. And I'm pretty sure it's not 'childish', because kids are basically AWESOME!
